Frist Blog: GLOBALIZATION: PROS AND CONS

Welcome to my First Blog! It's my first time to use a blog website so bare with me. In my first blog, I will share with you my experience in studying Globalization in my own words and understanding.  It's the first lesson we tackle in our subject GNED 07. Let's proceed.

GLOBALIZATION

Globalization is the process of international integration arising from the interchange of world views, products, ideas, and other aspects of culture.

In my perceptions, globalization is the extension of the business around the world. Through the changes of times the world is more complex in technologies it’s been easier to communicate and trade products, goods, and services. The businesses are being competitive to improve their product to a high-quality one. In political they reduced the barriers to trade some products and invest some business in foreign country.

There are some signs that a country has globalization:

  • Greater trans-border data flow, using such technologies such as the Internet, communication satellites and telephones

  • Greater international cultural exchange, for example through the export of Hollywood and Bollywood movies

  • Greater international travel and tourism

  • Development of global telecommunications infrastructure

All of the signs are we encountered when we experienced globalization in our country. All of us has a different perceptions about Globalization. In our subject I learned about the Anti- globalization and the Pro-globalization.

The anti-globalization development is an expansive based famous battle including laborers, naturalists, adolescents, workers, the metropolitan poor, native individuals, and different entertainers across the creating and industrialized universes taking a stab at social and monetary equity and more noteworthy popularity based command over their day to day routines. Activists come from different circles, including nongovernmental associations, ideological groups, worker's organizations, mass developments, casual organizations and assemblages, and progressive fronts.

Pro-globalization increases cultural awareness as well as the information and technology has been spread more easily with globalization. Now there's a worldwide market for the companies and for the people there is more access to products of different countries. There is already cash flow into the developing countries, which gradually decrease the dollar difference.
